Summary: The Union Government launched the Credit-linked Subsidy Services Awas Portal (CLAP) of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for All (Urban) on November 25, 2019.
Along with portal, the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MHUA) also launched Global Housing Technology Challenge (GHTC)-India to accomplish ‘Housing For All Mission’.
The portal was launched along with the signing of agreements between the Union Housing Affairs Ministry and state governments for the construction of LightHouse projects under GHTC-India.

Interest subsidy is credited upfront to the loan accounts of beneficiaries through Primary Lending Institutions resulting in reduced effective housing loan and Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI). Net Present Value (NPV) of the interest subsidy is calculated at a discount rate of 9 %.
# The beneficiary, at his/her discretion, can build a house of larger area but interest subvention would be limited to first Rs. 6 lakh only.
* Loans beyond this limit will not get interest subvention.
Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for EWS/LIG
Beneficiaries of Economically Weaker section (EWS) and Low Income Group (LIG) seeking housing loans from Banks, Housing Finance Companies and other such institutions are eligible for an interest subsidy at the rate of 6.5% for tenure of 20 years or during tenure of loan whichever is lower.
Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for MIG
The CLSS for MIG covers two income segments in the MIG viz. Rs.6,00,001 to Rs.12,00,000 (MIG-I) and Rs.12,00,001 to Rs.18,00,000 (MIG-II) per annum. In MIG-I, interest subsidy of 4% has been provided for loan amounts upto Rs.9 lakh while in MIG-II, interest subsidy of 3% has been provided for loan amounts upto Rs.12 lakh.

Step 3- Application Form page will displayed on screen.

Step 2- On Homepage, Click on the “grievance” option
Step 3- Go to the grievance option and select “lodge public grievance”
Step 4- If you are not registered then click “Click here to register” option
Step 5- Fill the registration form and register yourself first
Step 6- Sign in with the portal by using login id and password
Step 7- Again, go to the grievance option and select “lodge public grievance”

Portal Feature
- Credit Linked Subsidy is central sector scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) wherein interest subsidy on home loan is provided through CNAs and PLIs to the EWS/LIG/ MIG beneficiaries for purchase, construction or enhancement of house.
- To address these issues, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India in consultation with all stakeholders has developed a web based real time monitoring system CLSS Awas Portal (CLAP).
